Senior Data Engineer (Platform)

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Platform) to join our customer's project!

Responsibilities

• Generate ad-hoc marketing reports supporting fulfillment activities across 10 countries

• Design, maintain, and manage Power BI datasets and dashboards, ensuring appropriate data access for stakeholders with varying roles and regional needs

• Oversee end-to-end data movement and integration, including workflow design, data quality management, governance, and the upkeep of cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes

• Develop database layers to enable flexible and insightful ad-hoc reporting

• Contribute to the design and construction of centralized data layers to support data scientists and analysts in their analytical work

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline

• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance sector

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

• Solid command of SQL-based data storage structures and query optimization techniques, particularly with MySQL, Amazon Redshift, and DynamoDB

• Proficient in Python as a core programming language

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools will be advantageous

• Must have In-depth knowledge of data warehousing and data lake architectures, including ETL processes, real-time data streaming, and data modelling

• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Amazon S3

• Proficiency with tools such as DBT, Apache Airflow, AWS DMS, and Git

• Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and orchestration

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with demonstrated analytical thinking and effective problem resolution skills
