We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in theStudent Affairs Office:
Student Affairs Officer (Career Development and Entrepreneurship) (Ref: 25002K2)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:
- Supporting student development by leveraging the University’s career development and entrepreneurship education initiatives;
- Providing administrative and operational support including tracking the progress and effectiveness of training programmes, managing applications, coordinating meetings with external partners, and more;
- Conducting research on industry trends and developments relevant to the University’s industry partnership strategies;
- Assisting the Section Head with administrative tasks, such as arranging meetings, taking minutes, and performing other clerical duties; and
Performing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Student Affairs or his/her delegate(s).
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognised degree with at least 3 years of post-qualification work experience;
- An outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills and professionalism when engaging with new contacts;
- Relevant experience in student development, or programme management is highly preferred;
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to initiate projects from scratch, multitask, and thrive in a dynamic environment to deliver results;
- A hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of new initiatives;
- Strong self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; and
Good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Applicants with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Student Affairs Officer.
Candidates may be invited to attend a written test.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
