Role Description
This is a full-time role at AJAX Solutions Limited and is located in Hong Kong SAR. We are recruiting Structural Engineers at Graduate, Assistant, Engineer, and Senior levels. Depending on seniority, you will support or lead structural design, analysis, and implementation for energy and plant infrastructure projects. Work includes calculations, drafting and modelling, BIM coordination, technical reporting, and site inspections—under appropriate supervision for junior roles and with increasing autonomy for senior roles.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures to relevant codes.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, 3D models, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate BIM deliverables and clash resolution with multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct site visits/inspections and prepare condition and compliance reports.
• Support planning, estimation, and risk assessments for projects.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and authorities; present technical findings.
• Senior levels: lead packages, mentor juniors, plan resources, and oversee QA/QC.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Experience:
• Graduate/Assistant: 0–5 years’ experience (internships included).
• Engineer/Senior: Chartered (e.g., HKIE, IStructE, ICE, or equivalent) with post charter experience.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software and BIM tools
• BIM manager qualification will be considered favourable

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis tools (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, or equivalent).
• Working knowledge of Revit/BIM workflows; BIM Manager qualification is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of steel and concrete design; awareness of geotechnical interactions.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong and international codes/standards.

Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Clear, professional communication in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
• Team‑oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Safety‑conscious.
