Sr. Director - Production & Materials Planning, Logistics & Supply Chain

Major Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and business objectives
• Optimize resource allocation, including machinery, equipment and personnel, to maximize output and minimize downtime
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues, ensuring a smooth and seamless manufacturing process
• Lead Group Supply Chain team and manage all aspects of supply chain activities including but not limited to material planning, production planning warehouse and logistics management
• Manage and monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to fulfil the production planning among different manufacturing sites of the group
• Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory
• Ensuring that the company has an adequate inventory of products to meet customer demand while avoiding overstocking or shortages
• Experience in constructing and developing a centralized logistics hub
• Experienced on international customs regulations and requirement including China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Mexico and Europe
• Analyzes the inventories and procedures; suggests continuous improvements actions to increase efficiency and optimize the logistics cost
• Managing the flow of materials through the supply chain by arranging for transportation, warehousing, and other services
• Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution
• Assesses the need for material-handling equipment and staffing; makes recommendations to ensure efficient loading, unloading, movement, and storage of materials
• Executing a continuous improvement program for all supply chain functions
• Frequent travel required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management/manufacturing or related field. MBA or master’s degree in related subjects is a plus
• 10+ years of broad-based EMS production management, supply chain, logistics and warehouse management experience required
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers
• Strong knowledge and experiences on ERP system
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Must have experience leading various aspects throughout the supply chain
• Be highly “process-driven” and understand general best practices in similar environments and have worked in a diverse, high-volume product environment.

• Demonstrate the ability to continuously improve a supply chain and manage complex customer needs
