Shipping Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

The Shipping Supervisor is a key team member on Global Transportation & Logistics Team; who manages the origin logistics process. Support resolve the error on ASN/ Freight booking, assist vendors on booking platform and cloud-based factory management system. This role requires ability to achieve efficient operations. This position plays a role in ensuring that the Transportation & Logistics group meets internal and external customer needs and business objectives.

RESPONSIBLILITY

• Manage import sample material shipments, including cost tracking, provide cost visibilities and assist minimize the air freight cost as part of continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports on shipping metrics, performance, and process improvements.
• Provide support for ASN track exception cases by resolving the issues and escalating when necessary.
• Monitor shipment ASN and Freight Booking system data transmission across teams in Asia
• Check bulk and sample shipping document, monitor correct ship mode is used.
• Maintain accurate records and approve shipping expenses of sample shipments.
• Work closely with vendors and production teams in Asia/US directly.
• Support testing for new system and external platform.
• Support on air booking and ASN (GTN) platforms, train and with external and internal parties.
• Train vendors ensure their export practices are in line with Trade compliance requirements.
• Support manage staffs, provide the guidance for operation and document issues.

• Monitor third-party logistics (3PLs) and fourth-party logistics (4PLs) performance.

EDUCATION & PRIOR EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Diploma in logistics is preferred
• 5 years or above working experience in fashion shipping field and SAP knowledge is preferred
• Familiar with import and export procedure and requirement, especially in US, Asia and EU.
• Self-motivated, strong analytical skills, good at communication·
• Proficiency in MS Office, and SAP
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
