Senior UI/UX Designer (part-time, remote)

About Us:
We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to collaborate with our development team on this exciting e-commerce project, dedicated to creating new & impactful digital experiences to the industry.

Job Description:
As a senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, visually appealing and user-friendly web portal and mobile APP. You’ll collaborate with our product manager and developer team to translate user needs and business goals into a dynamic website platform and APP supporting company’s e-commerce business.

Key Responsibilities:

• To design high-fidelity UI mockups and interactive prototypes (web and mobile APP).
• To participate in research, concept ideation and user interface design and conduct usability test
• To create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to visualize design concepts.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Perform usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
• Other ad-hoc project assignments

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Multimedia Design. Visual or related disciplines
• 5 - 10 years relevant experience as a UX/UI design or similar roles
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross browser / platform support, and native mobile APP design
• Solid work experience in tools such as Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, Photoshop, HTML5, CSS, Adobe Illustrator etc.
• Experience in with knowledge in Node.js will be a plus
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiar with UX design principles and methodologies, such as user journey, user flow, screen flow design, etc.
• Knowledge in front-end development e.g.  web standards / SEO / Google analytics / Node.js is a plus
• Proven work portfolio with UI / UX experience in mobile app project is highly preferred
• Experience in brand / corporate identity in a global environment is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
