Senior Quality Engineer

Purpose of the job
Develop, implement, maintain, control and audit of quality system and activities to ensure all operations are complied with quality standard.

Responsibility
 

• Ensure the company quality system is well implemented in the company and at the contract manufacturers.
• Work with the NPI team to ensure APQP tasks are clearly defined and delivered to contract manufacturers.
• Drive contract manufacturers to ensure customer requirements are achieved through effective product and process realization.
• Feedback on customer complaints to contract manufacturers and drive for root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Carry out quality inspection for products shipping to customers.

Job Requirements
 

• Bachelor's degree, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background with 10 years or above relevant experience in telecommunication industry.
• Skilled in advanced product planning (APQP) and quality tools; PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA.
• Experienced in problem-solving and continuous improvement tools; 8D, 5-Why, DOE, and others.
• Strong practical experience, and knowledge of manufacturing systems and process technologies.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
• Self-initiative, responsible, detail-minded, and customer oriented.
• With good problem-solving and communication skills, and a flexible and adaptable attitude.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.
• Willing to have frequent travels.
