Senior Property Manager/Property Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Property Manager or Property Manager to join our team at New Gem Property Management & Agency Ltd. . This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for overseeing the effective management of our residential property portfolio, ensuring the highest standards of service for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of residential properties, including liaising with tenants, landlords, and contractors to address maintenance and repair issues
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant property management regulations and legislation
• Overseeing the financial management of properties, including rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Coordinating and supervising the work of property maintenance staff and external service providers
• Conducting regular property inspections and providing detailed reports to landlords
• Assisting with the marketing and leasing of vacant properties
• Providing exceptional customer service to both tenants and landlords

Requirements:

• Member of HKIM or MCIH
• Degree in Property Management, Facilities Management or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years' solid experience with at least 5 years at managerial level, preferably within the residential sector
• Familiar with the local ordinance, including but not only Building Management Ordinance, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient with MS Office applications including Excel and Word, and Chinese Word Processing
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Property Manager
