Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineerto join our Hong Kong team. The ideal candidate will have solid HVAC design background and Data Center experience to ensure mechanical systems meet the highest industry standards.

Role & Responsibilities

·       Design HVAC systems for data center while ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

·       Collaborate with architects, electrical and plumbing engineers, and other team members to ensure fully integrated system designs.

·       Manage multiple projects, including client interactions.

·       Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

·       Conduct load calculations and system assessments to determine heating and cooling requirements.

·       Analyze and optimize existing HVAC systems for efficiency and performance.

·       Develop detailed equipment specifications, selection criteria, and performance metrics.

·       Review technical drawings, schematics, and construction documentation.

·       Assist in developing HVAC system strategies for high-efficiency, sustainable designs.

·       Stay up to date with emerging HVAC technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications And Skills

·       Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

·       Minimum 3-5 years of design consultancy experience in Data Centres projects

·       Knowledge of relevant Data Center codes (TIA, Uptime, ASHRAE TC 9.9)

·       Hands-on experience managing multiple projects, including client interactions.

·       Proficiency in relevant design software

·       Good people and project management skills
