POSTION SUMMARY:
All brands strategy, product development and innovation are led and driven by certain PVH affiliates in the US with respect to products under the Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger sold in NA, Asia and SA; and in the Netherlands with respect to products bearing the Tommy Hilfiger Europe, Calvin Klein Europe with respect and sold in the Asia region. The position in this job description helps the above mentioned PVH related parties meet their operating and strategic needs.
Manage the efficient operations and execution of all the merchandising activities and sourcing operations for the brand and collaborate with different business partners. Represent the best interests of the brand internally and externally and ensure KPIs achieved. Supervise team's merchandising activities, grow and develop talent.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Fabric Development and Sourcing
- As a Brand manager in hub and focus on brand development and responsible for execution and order management for that brand in the hub
- Calendar management and mapping
- Build strong connectivity with supply chains at the best interest of brand
- Implement based on compliance and CR/Sustainability/Traceabiliy goals and objectives
- Deliver product and service level agreements and cost objectives
- Identify problems with solution, drive continuous improvement
- Grow and develop talent and deliver team's KPIs
- Close to market with updated technology
- Being partners with design team, stay close with supply chain for innovative ideas
- Maintain good rapport of work and shadow leadership to build a robust team
- Manage and monitor good execution of daily operation
- Respect and build synergy with cross-functional teams
Provide clear direction to team members and supply chain
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in apparel, material or management
- Minimum 10 years brand management experience with people management experience
Skills:
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the Supply Chain from Concept to Consumer
- Have experience in developing supply chain capability and talents
- Have global mindset of sourcing strategy at the best interest of brand
- Strong communication skills with the ability to untilize contacts
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and data driven decision making skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Agile and high adaptability, have grow mindset
- Proficient communication in English and local language, both verbal and written
- Strong product knowledge in multi categories i.e. knit apparels, denim, sweater, outerwear
- Solid knowledge in product development
- Experience in private label is preferable
