Senior Merchandiser (Casual Wear)

Responsibilities:

•Participate in the daily merchandising activities including sourcing, product development, bulk production follow up, price negotiation and costing

•Closely coordinate with the design team and factories for the manufacturing process so as to ensure the cost, product quality and deadlines are met

•Facilitate timely communication with internal and external parties between overseas customers, suppliers and manufacturers

•Coach and monitor a small team to deliver the best performance may be required

•Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

•Diploma or above in Fashion and Textiles or related discipline

•A minimum of 8 years of garment merchandising experience is preferred and US buying office experience is essential

•Solid experience in handling casual wear, both sample development and production follow up

•Good technical knowledge and understanding of the factory process

•Practical supervisory skills are necessary

•Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and problem solving skills

•Able to work under pressure, mature, self-motivated, innovative and detail-minded

•Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin

•Good computer skills, especially in MS Excel and Word

•Immediate availability is highly preferred
