Senior / Executive, Flight Operations

About the role

This is a full-time position with Metrojet Limited, a leading private aviation company based in Central. As the Executive of Flight Operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the company's aircraft fleet. This is a strategic role that will have a significant impact on the overall performance and success of the organisation.

We have a position available for Senior Executive or Executive roles, subject to candidates experience

What you'll be doing

1. Overseeing all aspects of flight operations, including flight planning, crew scheduling, and aircraft maintenance
2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and industry standards
3. Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance safety and efficiency
4. Coordinating with various departments, such as customer service and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations
5. Monitoring and analysing flight data to identify areas for improvement
6. Providing expert guidance and support to the flight crew and other operational staff
7. Representing the company and liaising with regulatory authorities, industry partners, and other stakeholders

What we're looking for

1. Extensive experience in a senior role within the aviation industry, preferably in flight operations or a similar operational function
2. In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, safety standards, and best practices
3. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
6. A bachelor's degree in aviation, aerospace engineering, or a related field is preferred
