Senior Accountant / Accounting Officer (Treasury)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Accounting Officer (Treasury) to join our team at HONG KONG FUSHAN VAYU ENERGY TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED' in the Causeway Bay Wan Chai District. This full-time role will be responsible for supporting the company's financial accounting and reporting functions.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure optimal funding and financial continuity.
2. Liaise with banks in accounts management, payments, and regulation.
3. Reviews payments and reimbursements under HKFRS and Hong Kong tax legislation
4. Assist in managing the daily accounting operations and prepare financial statements and reports according to accounting policies and regulations.
5. Identify and address areas of risk and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls.

What we're looking for

1. Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, HKICPA/ACCA qualification or equivalent preferred.
2. 3+ years of experience in the accounting department of finance institutions, listed companies, state-owned companies, or other multi-currency MNCs preferred.
3. Basic treasury and cash management skills and analytical skills for corporate-level financial monitoring and analysis.
4. Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
5. Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including both Cantonese and Mandarin.
6. Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.
