Secondary School Science Teacher (Chemistry and/or Physics Specialism)

DBIS seeks to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified and successful Secondary School Science teacher (Chemistry and/or Physics specialism) who is willing to commit to working in a stimulating and dynamic international educational environment. This is an exciting time to join DBIS as the Secondary phase and Science department are expanding. This is an excellent opportunity to work with our experienced team and shape the future of the department, with a focus on improving student academic outcomes.

To be considered, it is essential to have:

• A bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Chemistry/Physics or a closely related field;
• A relevant postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS);
• Experience teaching (I)GCSE and A Level Chemistry/Physics to a high quality (applications from IB Chemistry/Physics teachers will also be accepted);

It is desirable to have:

• A master's or postgraduate qualification in a related subject;
• Experience working with EAL pupils (English as an Additional Language);
• Experience or interest in being an examiner for (I)GCSE and/or A Level.

All new teachers are offered two-year renewable contracts and a competitive compensation package, with a gratuity of 18.75%, an additional monthly cash allowance, remuneration of school fees for one child and full medical and dental insurance for the employee and spouse.
