Operations Executive – Sea Freight

Reporting to: Operations Manager, Sea Freight

Geographical scope: position based in HKSAR

MAIN MISSIONS

CLASQUIN (FAR EAST) LTD is recruiting an Operations Executive – Sea Freight, for its office located in HKSAR, to handle import & export sea freight operations.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive customer satisfaction, retention and engagement
• Communicate with our customers in executing import & export bookings.
• Shipping line Rates Procurement and negotiation
• Maintain good carrier relationship
• Coordinate with shipping lines, co-loaders, agent, warehouse, and transport companies for all operational activities on daily basis.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable Customs and port regulations
• Generating shipping documents (i.e. invoice, packing list, BL, HBL, etc.)
• Handle customs permit declaration on Tradenet
• Maintaining and updating operational information and documents on CargoWise
• Create, update and refine customer reports
• Perform accurate and timely cost & revenue updates on job files in accordance with corporate KPI; resolution of billing discrepancies with clients and Clasquin Internal
• Generating freight invoices
• Collaborate with finance in monitoring credit limits and assist in case of challenges
• Support and resolve claims
• Accomplish other ad hoc tasks given by the Manager per his/her competence

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Around 5 years' relevant experience in Freight Forwarding operations
• Completion of Customs Competency Test for Declarants
• Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent is a plus
• Experienced in Cargowise is a plus
• Reliable, positive working attitude, pro-active and customer service oriented. Is a good team player, willing to share/help
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of using Cargowise will be an advantage
