JOB OBJECTIVES:

  • Merchandisers work in a retail setting, cultivating new and engaging ways to display and sell more products.
  • Build good relationship with stores PIC.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze the store’s layout to find the best spots to place products that will make them look more appealing to customers.
  • Any Gondola damage such as (lighting, Acyclic, Poster) report Directly to Regional RE.
  • If an item breaks, expires or loses popularity with Store do return by invoice.
  • Responsible for ensure all product have TESTER and replacing stock with a more appealing product.
  • Regularly track the sales and revenue of each product piece to determine which are best-sellers and which to replace by ordering with (KPI set).
  • To gain more insight on which products consumers are more likely to purchase (Request Ordering).
  • Reviewing customer feedback to predict sales trends and seasonal stock demand to ensure the Stock is fulfill the sales need.
  • Briefing staff (Watson’s, Mannings, etc.) on stock display and rotation to ensure every space is optimized.
  • Monitoring Sales and identifying any losses or stock wastage (by stock transfer to BA Store).
  • Working closely with Beauty Advisor, Executive to negotiate order large volumes to ensure Region able to achieve sales target.
  • Reviewing customer (Store in Charge) feedback to predict sales trends and seasonal stock demand (Slow moving Stock Analysis and do internal Stock Transfer).
  • FIFO to ensure stocks at all stores are in healthy inventory.
  • Proposing orders as when needed for all channels to ensure sufficient stocks.
  • Minimize OOS at below 5%.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Excellent communication skills, including speaking, writing and listening.
  • Strong time management abilities, including planning and prioritizing workloads.
  • Effective strategic planning, both for the short-term and long-term.
  • Thorough understanding of merchandising trends and industry best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific trends and issues.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions.
  • Creative and innovative thinking.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering results to Head of Operation Lead by Weekly.
  • A proven track record of achieving excellent results with merchandising strategies to hit KPI.
