Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process, including tendering, contract negotiations, and subcontractor/supplier agreements;
• Prepare sub-contract budgets, cost estimates, final accounts, variation order valuations, measurements & other quantity surveying practices;
• Liaise with external and internal parties on contractual matters;
• Collaborate with senior QS staff to solve problems and ensure project success.
• Work location: Based on the assigned project.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration for building or multi-disciplinary MEP projects. Experience in sizable projects from main contractor is preferred.
• Holder of professional membership would be an advantage.
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, tender processes, and commercial management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using relevant quantity surveying software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Solid experience in NEC Option C / GOV / HA contracts is highly desirable.
• Immediate availability will be given priority.
