About the role

Join Kuly Construction & Engineering Company Limited as a full-time Purchasing Officer based in San Tin Yuen Long District. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services to support the company's construction projects. Your strategic purchasing decisions will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.

What you'll be doing

• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate favourable pricing and terms on materials, equipment, and services
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation
• Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and expenditure
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements
• Research new products, suppliers, and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• 3 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the construction industry
• Proficient in using Excel to manage data and create reports
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also working independently
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
• Candidates with no experience are also welcome
