Purchasing and Logistics Manager (FMCG Skincare)

Job Description:

Manage the purchasing process in a timely manner including quotation, sampling, negotiation, capacity planning to meets the designate customer’s specifications and aesthetic as well as commercially acceptable quality standards

• To deliver exceptional service to customer
• Accountable for the purchase order processing and execution, and ensure timely delivery of products to the customers in a quality manner
• Monitor the commodity prices and exchange rates, and liaise with the suppliers on pricing
• Provide full visibility to key stakeholders on the PO status. Anticipate operational/program issues and develops preventative measures.
• Manage day-to-day communications with key stakeholders to ensure suppliers comply with all company standards, quality processes, special product criteria, shipment requirements (documents, invoicing) and Logistics team as needed.
• Develop operational database / report /benchmark to help management decision and to help identifying potential areas for improvement.
• Ability to drive results through planning and prioritizing along with influencing others and providing recommendations & solutions
• Create a monthly purchase plan to procure products from supplier.
• Work with Sales and Logistics Operations to replenish inventory at regular intervals to global hubs to maintain inventory levels in a cost-efficient manner.
• Control and minimize occurrence of over-stock / out-of-stock.
• Manage supply schedules from suppliers to warehouses, monitor suppliers to deliver the products on time and in full.
• Day to day communication with suppliers on factors affecting supply and potential delay, alert internal stakeholder and propose improvement plans.
• Create and maintain product SKU and information in ERP.

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or relevant qualifications
• At least 5 years solid experience in supply chain and FMCG / beauty industry
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently, strong identify and solve problem skill
• Strong sense of responsibility, cooperative, supportive, well-organized and self-motivated
• Detail-minded and willing to take up challenges
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Chinese Word Processing
• Experience in ERP will be an advantage
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Purchasing and Logistics Manager
• Immediate available is highly preferred
