We are the dynamic & fast-growing Toy manufacturer located in TST, it’s now looking for high caliber candidates to fill the following positions, selected candidates will be invited to join our young & dynamic team:

PROJECT ENGINEER (Mechanical -Toys)

Position Description

·         Drives the continuous improvement of product safety and efficiency

·         Ensures business needs are being met

·         Ensures implementation and optimization of product manufacturing strategies

·         Plans and communicates merchandising plans, new program requirements and new safety requirements

·         Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

·         Provides direction and leadership around vision, goals, and success metrics

·         Provides supervision and development of product development cycle

Qualifications

·         Convene the feasibility of the design, ensure product safety, improve injection mold design as well as improve on the plastic molding efficiencies

·         Experience in in Pro-E 3D CAD system.

·         Knowledge for tooling and plastic parts design.

·         Ability to travel between the factory (in China) and office (Hong Kong)

·         Gains understanding of manufacturing cycle and manages multiple projects and delivers them within the required timeline

·         Works cross functionally with suppliers, and internal engineer teams to build the best in class product specifications and experience

·         Help to filter and communicate customer expectation and requirements to both internal (sales, design, engineering) as well as external (suppliers, labs, outside engineering team)

·         Leverage the expertise both internal and external to develop best in class products

·         Be the guardian for product quality by influencing, educating, managing cross functional teams to constantly push the envelope on Product quality in order to drive customer satisfaction

·         Work with suppliers and vendors to manage product quality, content, attributes.

·         Develops plans to streamline processes across different functional teams

·         Experience working with overseas team/vendors

·         Experience collaborating with industrial designers and prototype shops

Additional Preferred Qualifications

·         Technical background with a strong understanding of plastic toys manufacturing

·         Advanced demonstrated experience with CAD (Solidworks strongly preferred)

·         Experience in various manufacturing methods and materials: injection molding, blow molding, stamping, metal fabrication and finishing

·         Responsible for bill of materials, product cost & project timelines

·         Experience of tooling, molds, electrical knowhow

·         Strong communication, influencing, collaboration skills

·         Diploma or Higher Diploma in mechanical engineering with over 5 years relevant experience in mechanic, plastic injection toys industry is preferred

·         Strong people relationship skills

·         Good command of written & spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
