Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and prepare technical proposal / method statement for the projects.

• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors and internal parties for technical matters to ensure the technical proposal / method statement is feasible and practical.

• Attend regular meetings, identify potential engineering problems and develop solutions.

• Prepare technical submission for various projects.

• Carry out structural checking and design for internal projects.

• Prepare temporary works design, method statement, and advise in structural matters.

• Prepare programme, reports, and sketches in respect of technical matters.

Requirements:

• University degrees or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent disciplines;

• 5 years relevant experience preferably in major Civil or Building projects in which minimum 2 years experience in structural design.

• Familiar with local design guidelines and regulations.

• Familiar with and understand the principle of project planning and programme for multidisciplinary projects.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese.

• Competency in computer software ie SAP, AutoCAD, MS Project, preferable BIM, P6.

• Applicants with more experience will be considered as Senior Project Engineer.

• Applicants with less experience will be considered as Assistant Project Engineer.
