The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The MBA Programme in Finance (FMBA) stands out as a highly selective programme designed to attract highly motivated professionals in the financial and related business sectors. This part-time programme caters to the needs of working professionals in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland, and the region who seek leadership development. To support the strategic development, the School is looking for a high-calibre and seasoned talent to join the team of the FMBA Programme.

Reporting to the Head of Admission and Alumni Engagement, the appointee will be responsible for (a) planning and co-ordinating the overall admissions and interview process to achieve the objectives of the FMBA programme; (b) responding promptly to public enquiries through phone, email and social media channels, providing information to Chinese Mainland students on visa application and relocation as well as hosting pre-arrival events as needed; (c) collaborating with the University’s Graduate School to ensure a smooth offer issuance process, and liaising with the student team to facilitate a seamless transition for candidates as they begin their programme; (d) ensuring that admissions data is up-to-date and accurate, and analyzing admission data to generate insights for the leadership team; (e) updating and maintaining the alumni data; (f) maintaining the highest levels of professional standards and compliance with regulations, including the personal data privacy ordinance; (g) organising and implementing various admission outreach activities, such as information sessions, education fairs, campus tours, consultations, and other events, to present the FMBA programme to prospective students; and (h) performing other impromptu duties as assigned. Business travel to Chinese Mainland and other locations is required.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a Master’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years’ work experience, preferably in the tertiary institution, sales, marketing or client management sectors; (iii) self-motivation with a strong sense of commitment; (iv) the ability to work effectively as a good team member; (v) strong communication and interpersonal skills; (vi) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese); and (vii) the ability to work independently. Having work experience in Chinese Mainland is preferred. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for written test(s).

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
