Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Project Officer’) (Ref. 250000Z6) (Closing date: Jun 10, 2025)

The appointee will provide a wide variety of administrative support to the Sports Medicine Team and will work in the general office at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin. Duties include (a) organising sports and community events, include co-ordinating with vendors, planning logistics, managing budget, overseeing event staff, and arranging all details that help an event succeed; (b) providing full range of secretarial and administrative support to the council members of a sports association; (c) providing administrative support to postgraduate programmes and certificate courses; (d) co-ordinating academic conferences and seminars; and (e) performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s). Working beyond office hours or at weekends will be required occasionally.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 4 years’ post-qualification work experience in event/project management; (iii) a positive work attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills; (iv) excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently; (v) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (include Putonghua); and (vi) a good level of computer literacy, e.g. MS Windows, Chinese word-processing etc. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
