Chung Chi College

The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing administrative and operational support to the student programmes; (b) monitoring venue operations, bookings and maintenance tasks; (c) handling procurement, book-keeping and relevant finance documents; (d) supervising workmen to perform daily operations; (e) rendering logistical support to the College’s major events; and (f) performing other duties as assigned. Working at weekends and beyond normal office hours in the event of operational needs will be required.

Applicants should have (i) completed secondary education or above; (ii) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained” or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (iii) fast and accurate Chinese and English word-processing skill; (iv) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); (v) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); (vi) good communication and interpersonal skills; (vii) a positive work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility; and (viii) the ability to work independently and as an effective team member. Having relevant work experience will be advantageous.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
