Production Engineer

NEC Platform Technologies Hong Kong Limited conducts manufacturing of magnetic tape drive, disk array, application appliance, server, telephone set and Point of Sales in Asia and China.  We also conduct international procurement activities for parts and assemblies through Asian countries. We are looking for high caliber candidate to fill the following position :

Production Engineer  (Ref : JD-133/2025)

Magnetic Tape Division

Job Description:

·       Monitor workshop operations to ensure process compliance

·       Investigate production failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

·       Analyze & visualize production data(e.g. yield rates, defect trends) to find performance issues & suggest improvements

·       Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing efficiency and product quality

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customers, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain

·       Support new product development from concept to mass production.

·       Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirement:

·       Degree holder in Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field

·       1-2 years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing

·      Fresh graduates would also be considered

·       Experience in project management and production process oversight

·       Knowledge of quality control, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)

·       Fluent in English and Mandarin (both spoken and written)

·       Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, Minitab is highly preferred

·       Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

·       Frequent daily travel to PRC (Dong Guan) around 4 days per week
