At Eastwise we provide innovative sourcing & procurement services through trusted global partnerships. Enhancing operational efficiency, we are a multicultural team of 40 people across Europe, Asia and North Africa: France, China & Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Tunisia and Singapore.
We are seeking a dynamic Product Specialist Manager (PSM) to join our team! As a PSM, you will oversee product development projects within a specific category, acting as the primary liaison between suppliers and clients.

Key Responsibilities
. Project Management: Lead new product development (NPD) projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards, supervise Merchandisers on category specifics to ensure effective information gathering
. Supplier Management: Monitor and report on supplier performance, driving improvements, negotiating pricing, timelines and payment
. Customer Relationship: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing proactive solutions to enhance satisfaction
. Expertise: Develop deep expertise in a specific product category, stay ahead of market trends and propose innovations to clients

Profile
. Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, international trading or merchandising, with European or US company
. Strong experience in Industrial category OR in Home/DIY category
. Bachelor’s degree in English, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
. Language: Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and speaking

Skills:
. Category Expertise: Deep understanding of assigned product categories, including trends and regulations
. Client Relationship Management: Build trust and deliver solutions that exceed client expectations.
. Conflict Resolution: Handle supplier/client disputes diplomatically and efficiently.     
. Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers
. Guidance Skills: Guide Merchandisers to achieve project goals.
. Process Management: Ensure smooth project workflows and adherence to timelines.
