Product Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Evaluate customer engineering documents and products specifications
• Convert customer document into internal production documents such as BOM, ECN ESPO etc.
• Provide manufacturing solutions for NPI and mass production ramp up
• Provide advice for DFx
• Conduct manufacturing evaluation and work out process work flow for each product
• Helps to conduct manufacturing cost evaluation under quotation stage, MP stage, cost down stage
• Work out product material/sub-material evaluation and approval.
• Work out for packaging design, shipment CBM optimization
• Work out ECN/ECR for engineering changes and get internal and customer approval.
• Engaged in customer on site engineering support and evaluation support such as NPI and customer audit.

• Associate with quality engineering team to perform engineering sourcing and vendor capability audit to accomplish customer engineering requirement
   

Requirements:-

• Diploma or Degree in product engineering, mechanical engineering, Electrical/Electronic engineering, manufacturing engineering
• 5 year or above in EMS field
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Able to GerberCAM, Gerber view, Pro-E/Solid work, AutoCad, mold flow, electronics simulation (preferred)
• Hands-on experiences in handling ISO documentation
• Hands-on experiences in handling products not limited to the following categories such as Automotive, medical-product, Telecommunication, Industrial grade power supplies
• Knowledge of MES controlled process design, DFx, PFMEA, DFMEA define and deployment, ESOP configuration and deployment are required.
• Any Computer vision, IOT, SCARA control software is beneficial
• Any of the 3D modelling and animation software such as Sketchup/Rhino is a plus.
• Knowledge in Lean manufacturing / 6 sigma approach is a plus
