Product Development Officer (Luggage & Handbag)

Jobs Description:

·         Primary owner of communication on development with designer and suppliers for luggage / handbags;

·         Communication with production unit for handbag & luggage suppliers on product workability, price negotiation, cost evaluation, capacity planning, lead time, problem solving, and quality evaluation

·         Work closely with teams to complete the product development process

·         Provide clerical and administrative support on daily operation of product development department

·         Work closely with manufacturers during the design stages to incorporate manufacturability into the product designs

·         Follow through the bulk production process and assure the goods are in comply with the company standard

·         Perform other special projects and functions as assigned by the Superior

Requirements:

·         Working experience in handbags product development is a MUST / experience in luggage product development is a PLUS

·         Good factory source and capable to deal with manufacturers independently

·         Must have excellent attention to detail while managing multi-tasking across multiple seasons

·         Ability to prioritize and meet essential deadlines

·         Effective problem solving, organizational skills and negotiation skills are required

·         Self-starter with the ability to collaborate with several cross functional teams

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin is a must

·         Available to travel to China and visit factories

·         Immediately available is preferred
