Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project “Ergonomic Design of Sport-specific Sports Bras and Customization for Female Athletes”.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoc Fellow post should have a PhD degree in a relevant discipline of fashion and textiles, fashion design & engineering, activewear design and/or sports sciences, etc. Applicants for the post of Research Assistant should have a relevant Bachelor degree or a relevant Master degree in fashion and textiles, activewear design and/or sports sciences, etc.
Preference will be given to those with research experience in activewear design, functional apparel design, textile material sciences and evaluation, etc

AiDLab is the region’s first research platform that focuses on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with design. It was jointly established by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the Royal College of Art (RCA) in the UK, and is funded by the HKSAR Government under the InnoHK Research Clusters. Located at the Hong Kong Science Park, AiDLab has established a new creative cluster of AI in design and is in a leading position internationally to conduct interdisciplinary research that drives innovation and sustainability, and makes a positive impact on both industry and society. AiDLab brings together a diverse mix of leading researchers and practitioners from its founding institutions to conduct research in three thematic programmes: Ergonomic and Inclusive Design, Innovation in Product and Service Design, and Intelligent Fashion Design and Quality Control.
