About the role

As a PLC Engineer at Vanderlande Logistics Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing, programming, and maintaining the complex automation systems that power our cutting-edge logistics solutions. Based in the Airport Area Islands District, this full-time position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of industrial technology, delivering innovative solutions to our global client base.

What you'll be doing

1. Designing and programming Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to control and monitor automated logistics systems
2. Configuring and troubleshooting PLC hardware and software to ensure optimal performance
3. Developing custom software and applications to enhance the functionality of our automation systems
4. Providing technical support and on-site assistance to our clients, ensuring the seamless integration and operation of our solutions
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to our PLC-based technologies
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest PLC programming languages, protocols, and industry standards

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Structured Text
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
5. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams
6. A passion for staying ahead of the curve in industrial automation technology
