Part-time Research Assistant

The Department of Philosophy (https://www.LN.edu.hk/philoso/) is seeking a Part-time Research Assistant who will provide support in preparation for Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2026 and other event coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the department with project incubation, data collection, and revision to ensure timely delivery for RAE 2026
• Translating course materials
• Collecting project feedback through qualitative and quantitative methods
• Carrying out the project’s promotional effort on various social media platforms, especially in Mainland China
• Assisting the project team in preparing reports and analysis of RAE-related data
• Performing other duties as assigned, including but not limited to events coordination, liaison with guest speakers and external assessors

Requirements

• A recognized associate degree or equivalent
• Have good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
• Experience with online promotions and marketing campaigns for the Chinese market is an advantage
• Be proficient in computer application including Chinese word processing
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Fringe Benefits

Commencing salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
