Operations head/ Merchandising head ( toys/ gift and premium)

About the Role

The company is seeking a Operations head to oversee and optimize the full spectrum of operational functions across our business unit. This executive role will manage sourcing operations in both Hong Kong and Shenzhen, ensuring efficient procurement, logistics, and supply chain performance.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic operator with a hands-on mindset, fluent in English, and possess deep expertise in logistics, sourcing, and procurement — particularly within the toys, consumer goods, or retail manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and streamline operations across the Hong Kong and Shenzhen sourcing offices
• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery
• Oversee supplier management, contract negotiations, and compliance across multiple geographies
• Manage logistics and supply chain planning to support global distribution

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development,

  quality assurance, and commercial teams

• Drive continuous improvement in procurement, production, and logistics

  systems

• Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms for operational performance

  monitoring

• Maintain strong relationships with key manufacturing partners and suppliers
• Ensure risk mitigation and crisis management plans are in place for supply chain resilience

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations, sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
• Proven track record in managing cross-border operations and supplier networks in Asia
• Strong background in toys, consumer goods, or retail manufacturing preferred
• Fluent in English (Mandarin and Cantonese are advantageous)
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills

• Ability to manage teams across multiple locations and drive operational

  excellence

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a strategic mindset
