(1) Senior Merchandising Manager / Divisional Merchandising Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a merchandising team to ensure effective sourcing and merchandising activities
• Oversees daily operations of whole product development and bulk production
• Identify business opportunities and enhance sourcing base
• Work on price setting, perform market research and competitors’ analysis
• Ensure the best practice with internal fabric, product development, technical and quality teams
• Manage vendor by setting up training & KPIs etc.
• Maintain good relationship with business partners, clients, suppliers etc.

Job Requirements (Education / Experience / Skill-set)

• University graduate in Textile / Clothing or related discipline.
• At least 10 years’ solid experience in buying office / garment trading field; experience in USA market is preferable.
• Woven / Knits / Sweater / Denim experience are welcome.
• Solid experience in managing offshore vendors.
• Strong aggressiveness in leading and achieving high vision, capable to handle different levels of counterparts / stakeholders in driving business goals.
• Excellent problem-solving and good time management skills.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese including Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.

(2) Merchandising Director

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Take the lead to oversee and develop the team so as to establish relationship with clients and manage their expectation
• Assess the capability of suppliers and vendors in supporting the production from development and quality / cost perspective
• Proactively work with factories and tech team to ensure quality on garments is met.
• Oversee and develop the team to establish relationship with clients and manage their expectation
• Sustain good relationship with both internal and external parties in order to achieve overall development/production schedule and on-time delivery
• Support sourcing strategy and growth of business
• Explore and source new vendors/suppliers to cope with the business growth; negotiate best price point and lead times with vendors/suppliers
• Stay close with customers on strategies and priorities of the orders that come through the pipeline
• Ensures all steps of approval including samples and trims etc. are completed within the TNA calendar to catch the original delivery date
• Review overall factory performance and call out for improvements
• Develop business strategy and sustain ongoing improvement on daily operations or introduce new processes in order to achieve cost efficiency

Job Requirements (Education / Experience / Skill-set)

• At least 15 years’ solid experience in garment trading field; experience in US market is preferable
• Solid experience in managing offshore vendors
• Strong aggressiveness in leading and achieving high vision, capable to handle different levels of counterparts / stakeholders in driving business goals
• Proven record in excellent leadership and people management skills
• Able to navigate and influence as trusted adviser to leadership team and customers
• Excellent problem-solving skills and good time management
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese including Mandarin
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Occasional business travel is expected
