Merchandising Manager – Consumer Electronics

Key Job Responsibilities

• Manage product sourcing and development for the company’s beauty brands and categories.
• Drive and implement business strategies to grow and strengthen the company’s category portfolio.
• Lead the merchandising division, overseeing all merchandising and sourcing operations with vendors.
• Negotiate and collaborate with vendors to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships, ensuring long-term strategic partnerships.
• Maximize brand and product sales performance by continuously identifying new vendors across different regions.
• Drive brand and product revenue through ongoing efforts in new product sourcing, order placement, and maintenance of optimal stock levels.
• Monitor and manage inventory to align with company stock targets and sales goals.
• Develop strategic sourcing plans and coordinate with the sales team to support successful execution.
• Prepare various stock and sales analysis reports for management review.
• Work closely with management to ensure that both short-term and long-term departmental objectives align with the company’s overall vision and strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Degree holder or above in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in merchandising or business development, preferably in a trading or buying office environment.
• Experience with Korean beauty brands is a strong advantage.
• Solid product and material knowledge, with strong product development skills and familiarity with the merchandising process.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently under pressure, and a strong team player with effective collaboration skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
