Merchandiser (Ladies Sweater / Cut & Sewn Knit)

Responsibilities:

• Main focus on development and costing, support production teams at production countries
• Work hand in hand with product managers at headquarter and vendors/factories on all aspects of sample development, ensuring samples met required standard and deadline;
• Collect, review, analysis and challenge vendors/factories on their costing sheets to provide the best offer to customers;
• Prepare full details to pass along to production team for execution.  Provide supports whenever required to ensure on-time delivery at approved quality from factories;
• Stay on top of vendors/factories to ensure they provide real time update on development, costing and production status through work-in-progress report;
• Closely communicate with superior/US counterparts to ensure all parties are up to date;
• Provide analytical reports and maintain data up-to-date.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma holder of Fashion & Textile or related disciplines;
• A minimum of 4 years merchandising experience in ladies apparel;
• Solid experience in handling ladies sweater;
• Knowledge of cut & sewn knit apparel will be an added advantage;
• Must be a team player, strong organizational skills, detail oriented and communicative;
• Sound knowledge/experience in FlexPLM and vendors portal;
• Good written & spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin;
• Computer literate, proficiency in PLM, along with strong MS Office skills;
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
