Mechanical, R&D Engineer

We are one of the HK based manufacturers of electrical household appliances and have highly integrated production facilities in Guangdong Province. We would like to invite high caliber individuals to fill the following vacancy:-

The Role

• Develop system application and concept design
• Work on Hardware engineers and simulation debug
• Algorithm prove-of-concept and capability enhancement
• Assist in mechanical design of product to fulfil requirements, including but not limited to components and material selections, 3D/2D drawing, define of specifications, BOM preparation, NPD and production process, and maintenance of design changes, etc
• Support evaluation of products and parts and assist in resolving engineering issues
• Prepare documents and regular reports for assigned projects
• Support project related activities with project and production teams

Skills & Experience

• Higher Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related
• At least 3 years experience in product development & concept implementation
• Working experience in constructional and product design is more preferable
• Strong technical background plus project management
• Possess knowledge of mechanical and FMEA will be more considerable,
• Strong 3D CAD program capability such as SolidWork, Pro-Engineer and etc,
• Mature, independent and analytical mind
• Good command of spoken & written English & Mandarin
• Frequent travel to China
• Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates will be considered as Junior Engineer
