Hygiene and Training Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain hygiene system for kitchens, F&B outlets, stewarding areas & food storage rooms, ensure the system is in compliance with the regulations, licensing conditions and codes of practice relating to food businesses

• Carry out regular audits, inspection and ensure operation complies with the Food & Beverage Department food safety standards

• Supervise the performance of cleaning contractor staff, ensure performance complies with the Food & Beverage Department hygiene standards, require to work on weekends and overnight shift occasionally

• Stay abreast of food safety related regulations, market trends, systems and practices in the Hotel industry, both Hong Kong and internationally

• Handle complaints or enquiries from customers on food hygiene matters

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., Certified Professional in Food Safety, HACCP certification) is highly desirable

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in hygiene management and training, preferably in F&B industry

• Excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on professional communication and presentation skills

• Self-initiative and capability to work under minimum supervision
