About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the 24-month Graduate Trainee Programme in the Building Consultancy Department.
You will be part of the dynamic team responsible for offering comprehensive building surveying services from a property consultancy perspective. This full-time position offers a structured training programme not only in building surveying but also in property management. You will gain theoretical learning and practical experience in the building surveying sector.
Responsibilities

Handle projects and develop proposals including interpreting client's brief and project objectives

Participate in fitting out, renovation, maintenance and repair projects
-
Conduct on-site building inspections and condition surveys
-
Coordinate alterations and addition works including preparing specifications or licensing requirements

Assist in building plan submissions to the government departments

Conduct tendering exercises including analysis and award

Supervise project implementation including cost and quality control

Provide support in property management tasks including budgeting and financial reporting
Requirements
-
Degree holder in Building Surveying, Building Studies or equivalent
-
A proactive, positive and attentive to detail approach to work
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders

A keen interest in the property industry and a desire to develop a career in building consultancy
-
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing
-
Good spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
