Your Role

·         Responsible for the day-to-day automation, maintenance and troubleshooting across the facility to include verifying efficient operation of systems and related equipment.

·         Perform engineering studies, project feasibility assessments and cost estimates.

·         Act as the system owner for the Building Automation Systems (BAS), Building Management System (BMS), Power management system (PMS), Critical Equipment Monitoring System (CEMS), Life Safety and Security Systems.

·         Formulate and implement maintenance plans, including feasibility studies, tendering processes, quotation preparation, budget formulation, and cost control

·         Prepare maintenance reports and coordinate emergency call out services around the clock

·         Conduct fault investigations, manage minor project executions and monitor site work progress

Liaise with end users, manage contractors and supervise in-house technical officers and technicians


To Succeed in the Role

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

·         Open to candidates with relevant work experience in facilities maintenance, construction, and commercial or industrial maintenance environments.

·         Practical experience with data centre equipment such as switchgears, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, control systems, security monitoring systems, and fire safety systems.

·         Strong understanding of equipment start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting in live systems.

·         Hands-on experience with BMS/IBMS systems, including diagnostics and troubleshooting in operational environments.

·         Able to supervise and manage in-house staffs and a bunch of service contractors to ensure best value and service delivery in accordance with agreed SLA and KPI

·         Familiar with local ordinances and regulations, COP, as well as relevant international standards

·         Self-motivated with strong communication and problem solving skills

·         Customer services oriented

·         Proficiency in written/spoken English and Chinese, particularly in incident report writing

·         Computer skills are required, e.g. MS Office, AutoCAD, etc

Holder of Grade A registered electrical worker certificate or above will be an advantage
