Position Overview:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons in physics, biology, or chemistry aligned with the IB curriculum.
• Assess student progress and foster a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development.
• Contribute to the school community and extracurricular activities.
• Strong knowledge of physics, biology, or chemistry concepts within the IB MYP or DP.
• Ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective science lessons using inquiry-based learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficient in integrating technology into teaching and learning experiences.
• Experience with the IB curriculum and assessment practices preferred.
• Willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of the IB programme and school environment.
• Genuine enthusiasm for science and commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with a Postgraduate
• Certificate/Diploma in Education (PGCE/PGDE)
• An understanding of the MYP and the key underpinnings of the curriculum frameworks is advantageous
• Newly qualified teachers or teaching experience within a recognised educational institute
