Job Description

Executive Officer II in the School of Law (Appointment for 6 months) [Ref. T/145/25]

Duties

  1. Provide administrative support in processing academic faculty appointments, including shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews and coordinating external reviews;
  2. Communicate effectively with candidates to ensure a smooth interview process and onboarding experience;
  3. Manage the recruitment and appointment of research support staff, non-regular and non-academic staff to meet the teaching and operational needs of the School;
  4. Liaise with Human Resources and Finance Offices to complete onboarding and exit procedures in a timely manner;
  5. Monitor visa applications and ensure compliance with Employment Ordinance and Immigration Regulations; and
  6. Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in Human Resources Management or related disciplines;
  2. Well versed with HK employment ordinance and related legislation;
  3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  5. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to details.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
