Duties

The appointee will primarily assist with the School’s staffing and human resources matters. Key responsibilities include to:

  1. Provide administrative support for HR related functions, including but not limited to recruitment, staff development and personnel matters;
  2. Support new talent acquisition initiatives, such as Presidential Assistant Professors Scheme, Distinguished Visiting Professors Scheme etc.;
  3. Support in performance management review and assessment;
  4. Serve as the contact person for addressing staff enquiries related to HR matter, provide professional and accurate responses; and
  5. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of post-qualification working experience, preferably in the higher education sector. Strong proficiency in computer software applications; excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills are essential. The ability to work under pressure with positive attitude is required. Experience in human resources management within tertiary education sector would be an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
