  • Tool and System Enhancement: Enhance existing environmental performance management tools and design new systems for continuous improvement and real-time monitoring.

  • Management System Oversight: Lead the development and continuous refinement of the company’s environmental management systems—this includes drafting and auditing policies and procedures, curating training programs, and guiding business units toward best practice alignment.

  • Standards Integration: Drive the integration of industry benchmarks such as the Higg Index FEM and bluesign standard into TAL’s sustainability framework. Design action plans and facilitate training to promote continuous progress.

  • Sustainable Product Framework: Build and maintain TAL’s sustainable product strategy, aligning with industry-leading guidelines on circularity and sustainable materials.

  • Certification Systems Management: Lead the design and execution of content claim certification systems. Expand certification coverage, optimize procedural workflows, and support compliance across all relevant units.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business units and departmental leaders to co-create projects addressing key sustainability goals such as product carbon and water footprinting, supply chain impact assessments, and responsible material targets.

  • Internal & External Communication: Create compelling communications about TAL’s sustainability initiatives for various audiences, including internal stakeholders, customers, and the public.

  • Awareness and Engagement: Organize and deliver educational presentations and articles to strengthen sustainability understanding across the TAL Group.

  • Reporting Contributions: Contribute to TAL’s sustainability reporting on its website and biennial reports, ensuring comprehensive coverage of environmental performance in line with GRI and other reporting standards.

  • Industry Engagement: Represent TAL in key multi-stakeholder sustainability initiatives such as Cascale, the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, and Textile Exchange. Provide manufacturer insights and help advance systemic improvements within the apparel industry.

  • Stakeholder Meetings and Inquiries: Engage in meetings with internal teams and external partners. Respond to client inquiries and share insights on TAL’s sustainability strategies and commitments.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Manage direct reports by setting clear goals, fostering autonomy, supporting professional growth, and coaching for both technical and interpersonal skill development.
