English Class Teacher (Ref: PRE/ET/20231116_ct)

The ISF Pre-School is located in Kennedy Town and offers a unique bilingual (70% Putonghua / 30% English) program to young learners from two years and eight months to five years of age. The ethos of the Pre-School is firmly based on The ISF Academy’s Vision, Mission and Values, and is strongly aligned with the Primary and Secondary learning programs of the Academy. Learning standards are high and the parent community is highly aspirational.

Candidates interested should be willing to work in a demanding and innovative program teaching children with high levels of competency in both Chinese and English. Teachers work with two different classes, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, each with 22 students. Homeroom teachers teach language, early mathematics, self and society, nature and living, arts and creativity, and physical fitness and health.

Commencement Date: 1st August 2024

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education;
• Registered Kindergarten Teacher and Child Care Worker with the Education Bureau in Hong Kong;
• High level of fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Patient and passionate about educating young children;
• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience with pre-school aged children;
• Knowledge and experience in inquiry-based teaching and learning;
• Experience in a bilingual working environment is advantageous;
• A good team player who also works well independently; Strong computer and curriculum development skills; and
