Electrical Engineer

Job Description

• Responsible for electrical engineering works involving design, control, and implement electrical equipment and systems
• Co-ordinating & monitoring the quality of contractors’ engineering activities & providing electrical engineering supports to installations works under statutory requirements
• Monitoring & reviewing materials & drawings submitted by contractors
• Supervision and management of sub-contractors and subordinates
• Ensure that installations and applications are in line with safety standards
• To perform safety and quality controls inspections, testing and commissioning and monitor the related site progress
• Responsible for liaising with clients consultants, sub-contractors on all electrical matters
• Prepare project drawings and technical matters, attend site meetings, project implementation, site progress monitoring and supervision, etc.
• Monitor and control electrical discipline project performance against budget, schedule, safety, and quality
• Liaise to ensure project deliverable meet the contract requirement
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Degree, Higher Diploma or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
• Holder of Registered Electrical Worker (Grade B) is an advantage
• At least 8 years' relevant experience in electrical engineering design, installation and maintenance, testing and commissioning preferably with E&M contractors
• Experience in industrial/chemical plant process system design
• Relevant working experience in construction site of electrical, mechanical & building services work
• Experience in construction / engineering field work
• Proficient in AutoCAD will be advantage
• Experience in waste treatment (leachate treatment works and biogas treatment works) is an advantage
• Good command in English, Chinese & Mandarin to liaise with different stakeholders
