Editor/Project Editor - CLT Editorial (Supplementary)

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Plan, design and develop Chinese Language Teaching (CLT) publications of the highest possible quality
• Manage the editorial process to ensure all material is produced on time and on budget
• Collaborate with design, production and digital teams on publishing and digital/multimedia productions
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams in market research, promotion and sales activities
• Network with relevant professionals and associations in school visits, focus groups and meetings

Job Requirements:

 

• A University degree, preferably in a field related to the Chinese language and/or Chinese language education
• High level of literacy in written Chinese
• Excellent command of spoken Chinese
• Excellent inter-personal skills, adaptable and flexible
• Excellent organizational, analytical skills and prioritization skills
• Good presentation and public speaking skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Attentive to details
• Editorial experience in educational books is highly preferrable
• Candidates with more experiences will be considered as Project Editor
