Construction Manager

The Construction Manager shall be responsible for all aspects of construction management, all the way from pre-construction phase to construction completion and post-construction activities. He or she shall ensure the project(s) are delivered on time, within the approved budget, and in accordance with the contract(s) and Owner’s requirements.

Job Receptibilities:

• Work closely with consultants and contactors to ensure the construction are on track.
• Coordinate with operations departments to manage the overall progress and operations interface.
• Vetting technical submission prepared by consultants or contractors.
• Compile progress reports and present to management.
• Monitor project progress on continuing basis to identify delays, discrepancies, conflicts or other anomalies timely.
• Follow up on complaints and monitor defect rectification works for completed projects.
• Provide solution to project team for continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance of the site safety requirements stipulated in the works contract.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in building/Structure Engineering and Construction or equivalent, preferably with relevant professional qualification such as MHKICM, MCIOB, MHKIE, MHKIS, etc.
• Minimum 15 years’ post-graduation experience.
• Experience in the construction field, with proven experience from large-scale residential/commercial development to alteration and addition works.
• Experience in Modular Integrated Construction (MIC) preferred.
