Duties
Provide administrative support to the College Office on the management of executive and research degree programmes. Main duties include day-to-day administration of student records and related work processes, student admission, class meetings and workshop coordination, thesis defence, academic and student support services, alumni relations and development, as well as managing research student offices and co-working space.
The appointee is also required to work overtime and irregular hours (including Saturdays and Sundays) occasionally.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years’ post-qualification working experience, preferably in tertiary education;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point);
- Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and attention to details;
- Good interpersonal, communication, organisational and coordination skills;
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and perform multi-tasks within tight deadlines; and
- Knowledge of and experience in postgraduate programme management is preferred.
Candidates with less working experience may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer II.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
