BMS Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. System Planning and Implementation: Responsible for the planning and implementation of BMS systems (including BA, EPMS, EMS, SCADA) for data centers in the Asia-Pacific region. This includes liaising with stakeholders and vendors, establishing design, tendering, and implementation standards (e.g., graphical interfaces, software functionality, alarm parameters), and defining delivery standards (e.g., testing standards, process standards, acceptance documentation requirements).

2. End-to-End Technical Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of BMS system projects, from design and implementation to handover. This encompasses solution development, tendering and review of construction drawings, technical management of consultants and vendors, technical liaison with overseas clients, and innovative solution development.

3. BMS Project Delivery Management:Manage the delivery of BMS systems for data center projects within your assigned region. Establish efficient processes, standardized documentation, and oversight of vendor deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality, schedule, and accuracy standards for drawings, documentation, and engineering work.

4. Collaboration and Problem Solving: Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and other relevant departments to resolve on-site technical issues.

5. Technology Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of the latest developments in BMS technology and assess the application potential of new technologies in projects.

6. Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.

7. ELV Engineer (Preferred): Responsible for the full lifecycle technical management of overseas data center ELV systems (including structured cabling, networking, security, conferencing systems, building automation (BA), building management systems (BMS), and fire alarm systems). This includes solution development, bidding and construction drawing review, technical management of consulting firms and contractors, technical liaison with overseas clients, and solution innovation.

8. BMS Technology Roadmap (Optional): Develop the technical roadmap for BMS in data centers, incorporating Electrical and Cooling infrastructure to create standardized design solutions for data center BMS systems.

9. Intelligent Data Center Operations (Optional): Explore intelligent data center operations, building stable and efficient underlying monitoring systems, and deeply customizing Electrical and HVAC control systems to minimize manual intervention and achieve automated system operation.

Essential Requirements:

1. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin, enabling effective communication with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.

2. BMS Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in BMS system implementation, with experience working with contractors and BA/BMS manufacturers. Proven ability to independently manage the entire lifecycle of BMS system projects.

3. ELV Experience(preferred): Minimum 5 years of experience in ELV system implementation, with experience working with contractors and consultant. Proven ability to independently manage the entire lifecycle of ELV system projects. Experience in management of data center/high-precision factory projects.

4. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Information Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. (Candidates with significant BMS experience may have alternative educational backgrounds considered).

5. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with BMS industry standards and regulations and understanding of advanced technologies in related systems.

6. Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD (CAD drawing), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

7. Personal Attributes: Strong coordination and problem-solving skills; high sense of responsibility and initiative; ability to handle pressure; strong work ethic; commitment to excellence; and excellent teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Data Center Experience: Extensive experience managing BMS systems throughout the lifecycle of large-scale data center/high-precision factory projects, with strong management experience and capabilities in data center equipment and facility design and delivery.

2. BMS System Expertise: Familiarity with the technical principles of mainstream BMS systems and hands-on experience commissioning at least one BMS product.

3. International Project Experience: Experience with international projects.

4. Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of large-scale electrical and cooling infrastructure.

5. Testing and Documentation: Experience in BMS system test management and the ability to develop test plans.

6. HVAC Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with the control and operation logic of mainstream cooling and air conditioning systems.
