Basketball Coach (Part-Time)

We are looking for a passionate and committed basketball coach to join our community sports initiative, sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and organized by BGCA’s Integrated Children and Youth Services Centre; special project & outreaching teams.This project aims to make basketball more accessible to students and underprivileged youth, promoting physical and mental well-being while fostering personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured basketball training sessions on a regular basis.
• Support the teams in inter-team competitions and tournaments.
• Collaborate closely with project manager and social worker to ensure smooth execution of training programs.
• Assist in planning and implementing basketball-related events and competitions.

Requirements

• Possess a valid basketball coaching certificate issued or endorsed by a recognized international or accredited organization; or
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in coaching basketball, preferably with youth or school teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit, and a genuine enthusiasm for youth development through sports.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Attractive hourly rate offered, with monthly payment arrangement.
